Greetings from Tokyo! I'm sorry we won't be able to make it to the family reunion again. The Pacific Pond is just a bit too wide and deep to hop on over.
It has been over four years since Russ' massive stroke. He has a wonderful attitude and lives with his limitations with grace. The peace of God is very evident in his life.
Our kids are on both US coasts now with Christie in Seattle and Joel in Maine. Christie teaches American Sign Language at a public high school and Joel is a radio broadcast engineer and technician at Worship Radio. Of course we miss them, but are very pleased with the fine young adults they have become.
I continue working as an educational consultant for homeschoolers and English-speaking schools at Christian Academy in Japan. My favorite job is being Russ' number one cheerleader.
