My dear brother Ray was the hardest working, never complaining, mandolin & fiddle playing, guitar playing, singing, even whistling guy than you could ever want. He & I used to play great songs together, & He, Harold & I coaxed the milk from the old cows every morning & every night, singing Sons Of The Pioneers songs. We got through some hard times before & after Pop died. I don't recall ever hearing Ray complain, He & I also played a lot of dances with Ray on bass. The crowd always loved to hear him sing Wabash Cannonball, & Columbus Georgia. Needless to say, I loved him dearly, & miss him a lot. I can say without reservation that we all owe him a lot for his sacrifices during those tough years.

Your first sentence sums it up to a "T". Thank you so much for sharing this, dad!
